Challenge return 2020 in Pokemon GO

The month of May 2020 looks entertaining with the new 2020 Throwback challenge from Pokemon GO.
News, weekly events and endless rewards for the best Pokemon Trainers. New challenges have incentivized many players to return to this popular game.

The Throwback challenge begins in May.

May is going to be an important month for every Pokemon trainer, this time the game offers us a very interesting challenge. With the 2020 Throwback challenge they wanted to offer the opportunity to get legendary Pokemon from all the regions they have created and that you have not been able to get until now. You can even remember the first adventures inspired by the adventures of Pokemon Blue. This does not mean that you can get all the Pokemon you were missing, only that the spam from Pokemon and eggs will change weekly depending on the research we find. The investigations that will mark this Pokemon challenge are optimized to be carried out from home as a measure of confinement by the Covid-19.

Kanto Throwback Challenge

This first phase begins on Friday, May 1 at 1:00 p.m. and will end on Friday, May 8 at 1:00 p.m. (local time).
Research originating from Pokemon Red and Blue is dedicated to the Kanto region.
The adventures will be full of memories, one of the objectives of the investigation is to capture a Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle and thus remember the first great decision as a Pokemon trainer.
Pokemon Chansey and Venonat will appear more frequently.
As a commemoration of Charizard, who was the most beautiful Pokemon in the Kanto region, we can find Pikachu with a Charizard hat.

When you finish the 8 tasks of the Temporary Investigation, you will win 10 rare candies and an encounter with a Mewtwo who knows the Mind Wave attack.

Johto Throwback Challenge

Starts on Friday, May 8 at 1:00 p.m. and ends on Friday, May 15 at 1:00 p.m. (local time)
In the investigations you will be able to remember adventures of Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver.
Catch Water-type Pokemon in memory of the momentous memory in Lake of Fury and the encounter of red Gyarados.
Pokemon Dunsparce and Skarmory will appear more frequently.
When you finish the 8 tasks of the Temporary Investigation, you will win 10 Rare Candies and an encounter with Ho-Oh who knows the Earthquake attack.

Hoenn Throwback Challenge

It starts on Friday, May 15 at 1:00 p.m. and ends on Friday, May 15 at 1:00 p.m. (local time).
Inspired by the events of Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire, it catches Fire-type and Normal-type Pokemon.
Pokemon Skitty, Zangoose, and Seviper will appear more frequently.
When you finish the 8 tasks in the temporary investigation the prize will be 10 Rare Candies and an encounter with Groudon who knows the Fire Fist attack.

Throwback Challenge Sinnoh

It starts on Friday, May 22 at 1:00 p.m. and ends on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. (local time).
A walk through Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl. Empower your Pokemon and take a snapshot with a Steel-type Pokemon commemorating the exploration of Iron Island.
Cherubi and Glameow will appear more frequently.
When you finish the 8 temporary research tasks the prize will be 10 Rare Candies and a reward encounter with Cresselia who knows the Grass Loop attack.

Challenge Championship

It will start on Wednesday, June 3 at 1:00 p.m. until June 8 at 1:00 p.m. (local time).
At the end of the 4 seasons of the Temporary Investigation of the 2020 Return Challenge you will have to collaborate with Professor Willow to discover the Pokemon of the region of Teselia. When this season ends, Pokemon from the Galar region will arrive for the first time at Pokemon GO.
The reward of Pokemon GO for completing the 4 tasks of the special investigation will be 5 Rare Candies, a reward encounter with Meowth, Stunfisk and Genesect form from the Galar region. You will also receive an exclusive item for your avatar, Professor Willow's glasses.
This special investigation has no maximum time, it can be completed at any time.
